Fair Weather at the Armory

The International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show dazzles crowds at the Park Avenue Armory
 --works of art spanning continents and millennia, the 22nd edition delivers rich variety and strong sales --

Sixty-five of the world's most influential art and antique dealers converged on the Park Avenue Armory, October 22-28, 2010 to participate in the 22nd annual International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show, a greatly anticipated event of the New York fall season.  The prestigious "International Show" - which is the flagship fair organized by Anna and Brian Haughton - has retained its position as the premier showcase in America for top dealers from Europe and the United States for more than two decades.

Excellent sales and buoyant atmosphere reported at inaugural Fair

Art Antiques London opened its doors to the public on June 10th, following a highly successful private preview and glamorous First Night Party in aid of The Bush Theatre on 9th June. The two events attracted around 1,800 people.

The Fair, which won plaudits for its spacious and elegant presentation, played host to 63 international specialists from a wide range of disciplines. The Fair was busy from the outset and maintained a steady flow of visitors throughout. The final visitor figure for the Fair was in excess of 14,000.

New London Fair for Collectors and Connoisseurs

This June, Kensington Gardens will provide the stunning backdrop to Art Antiques London (incorporating The International Ceramics Fair & Seminar), which runs from 9-16 June 2010, a new art and antiques fair aimed at both the seasoned connoisseur and those who admire and value beauty and timelessness.  Art Antiques London (incorporating The International Ceramics Fair & Seminar) will be held in a beautiful custom-built marquee opposite the Royal Albert Hall, adjacent to the site of the Great Exhibition of 1851. Booming Business and Record Crowds

Objects of drop-dead beauty, great historical significance and riveting curiosity captivated record crowds at the 21st annual International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show, which ran from October 16-22, 2009 at the Park Avenue Armory, New York City.  A sense of optimism prevailed among the sixty-five dealers who brought their very best pieces to the fair. Highly coveted and historically important pieces sold to discerning collectors and institutions and audience response was extremely positive.  The prestigious "International Show" - which is the flagship fair organized by Anna and Brian Haughton - has retained its position as the premier showcase in America for top dealers from Europe and the United States for more than two decades.

The Legendary 'International Fair' Grows in 2009

A larger and more varied roster of world-class dealers will exhibit at the 21st annual event at the Park Avenue Armory, New York.

The 2009 fair will be a larger event than in years past, with 65 exhibitors, up three dealers compared to last year's group of 62. Some of the top names in their field have been added to the already stellar line-up making it the most varied and well-rounded International Show in decades.
